Ganesha Festival Celebration at RVD College
RVD College celebrated the Ganesha Festival with great enthusiasm and devotion. The event featured the installation of a beautifully adorned Lord Ganesha idol, followed by daily aarti, devotional songs, and cultural performances by students. The campus was decorated vibrantly, creating a joyful atmosphere.
The festival concluded with a grand, sustainable immersion procession. The event fostered a sense of unity, tradition, and environmental responsibility, bringing the RVD College community together in celebration.
RVD Habba
RVD Habba, students celebrated India's diversity through cultural showcases. First-year Bcom students represented Karnataka, focusing on the grandeur of the Dasara festival showcasing the elephant parades and history of the Karnataka. Second-year Bcom students brought Punjab's vibrant energy to life through Bhangra, traditional attire, and cuisine. Third-year Bcom and BBA students highlighted Kerala's cultural richness, featuring the iconic Ayyappan Swami Temple, Ayurveda traditions, and captivating performances of cultural dance. This event beautifully united the students in celebrating India's varied heritage.
Pick and Speak (Kannada)
RVD College organized a Pick and Speak event in Kannada, where students delivered impromptu speeches on random topics. This event enhanced their creativity, fluency, and confidence in speaking Kannada, while promoting the use of the regional language.
